With the beds now protected from the quail, the garden is doing great. I don't know what is more scary: the growth on the tomato plants that I have to push back into their cages every day, or the grapevines which may grab you if you stand still too long.
I have noticed nice-sized tomatoes, as well as grape clusters. I am still planning to sew some small bags to protect them in case the birds have their eye on them too.
The beans are also blooming, the beets look great and the lettuce is wonderful. Blooms on the peppers too. The only thing a bit disappointing at this stage is the melon crop, but I think that now they are out of the buckets, they may catch up yet.
