Gosh, it looks so BIG! A lot to take care of, but you seem to do it well. I love the covered, raised beds and those wonderful covers. You all have done such a great job of setting it all up and I bet over the years you will be more and more self-sustaining. Is that a goal?
Not really planning to be totally self-sufficient, but when the store is 75 miles away and you only shop twice a month, it is nice to have fresh vegetables right out the door.
After living in the Pacific Northwest for 30+ years, Dan and I left our high-tech jobs to build our dream house in the country in a climate that is more conducive to an outdoor lifestyle. So here we are in SE Arizona, living the dream that was in the planning for 25 years.
I am writing this blog to keep track of time and our activities, in short to ensure we live with intention as this is the time of our lives.
"If you talk to the animals
They will talk to you
And you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them,
You will not know them.
And what you do not know
You will fear.
What one fears one destroys."
